Vivien Vee INFO
There is not much information to find about Vivien Vee. The Story was that she was from the USA, but living in Italy as a daughter of a diplomat. “Give Me A Break” (Banana Records) was a smash discoteque hit in the States and Europe.
I remember reading that Vivien was in fact daughter of American Rock ‘n Roller Bobby Vee. (Bobby Vee being the 15 year old boy who on the Night the Music Died took the stage left empty by sudden deaths of Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens!)
Vivien Vee was born in Turien (Italy) and moved at the age of 18 to Rome. She was there discovered by Claudio Simonetti and Giancarlo Meo. Vivien is now living in Napoli and has become a mother.
Vivien Vee is best remembered for her 1980 classic “Give Me A Break” on Banana Records as well as “Remember,” “Pick Up,” “Wanna Feel” and others.
